Planegg – Metropoltheater shows “The End of the Rain” – District of Munich

After the performance date was postponed several times, the Metropoltheater is now showing the award-winning play “The End of the Rain” twice this weekend in Planegg: for the ensemble from Munich, there will be a performance on Friday, March 25 (beginning at 8 p.m.) and Saturday, March 26 at March, (5 p.m.) the Kupferhaus to the stage. The production by director and Metropolitan Theater manager Jochen Schölch depicts the history of two families over 80 years, four generations and two continents, spanning the years 1959 to 2039. The drama was written by Australian author Andrew Bovell, who embeds the tragic family chronicle in a “A story of silence, loneliness, crime and loss, but also of love and reconciliation against the backdrop of a world ravaged by natural disasters,” it says.
