Pforzheim: Two students seriously injured in a knife attack

Two students were seriously injured in an attack with a knife at a school in Pforzheim. The suspected perpetrators were caught.

On Tuesday afternoon there was an attack against two students at a school in Pforzheim. According to police, two 17-year-old students were sitting on a bench at school around 2:30 p.m. when the 18-year-old suspect entered the building with a 19-year-old. The 18-year-old then stabbed the two students and seriously injured them.
















According to a spokesman, the police assume that the attack was not random and that the two young people were not victims at random. According to the police, the two suspected perpetrators were not students at the school in question.

The suspected perpetrators initially fled, but were caught

The two suspected perpetrators were initially able to escape. However, thanks to the search that was immediately initiated, the two suspects were temporarily arrested. The two seriously injured students were taken to a hospital for further inpatient treatment. The investigations, particularly into the background to the crime, are ongoing.
