When companies celebrate themselves for hiring a new board member, they like to issue press releases that praise them. They hope that newspapers, trade journals or other media will then report on what a good catch they have managed to make. Now it turns out that when it comes to the exuberance of the press releases, there is a big difference whether the new catch is a woman or a man, a board member or a board member.
