A renewable strike?

While the government is trying to defend its pension reform, widely contested by the French, the railway branch of the CGT union on Tuesday brandished the threat ofa renewable strike “from mid-February” if the executive does not withdraw its project, in a joint leaflet with SUD-Rail, the second union at the SNCF.

“The UNSA Ferroviaire and CFDT Cheminots federations did not wish to follow up on this proposal, for the time being. SUD-Rail was not closed in principle,” said indicated the railway branch of the CGT this Tuesday, January 24.
