During a search of an apartment in the Passau district, the police say they confiscated 100 to 150 weapons from a man. This included a large number of firearms and knives, the police said on Monday.
According to a police spokeswoman, the officers found the weapons in Rotthalmünster last Friday after receiving a tip-off in another case. The Bavarian State Criminal Police Office is now examining to what extent the weapons are criminally relevant. The 43-year-old suspect was unable to produce a weapons license – he was now being investigated for illegal weapon possession.
