In her first television series, Munich film director Caroline Link tells of the mental illnesses of children and young people – and how they are helped by a therapist. “Safe” is available in the ZDF media library, on Wednesday, May 24, the first episode will be shown in the “Shaere” cinema in Neuperlach. Link will be present at the performance, im Connection is a conversation about ways to support mentally stressed children and young people. Because the topic affects many: around 18 percent of adolescents in Germany are mentally disturbed, at the same time the help system is overloaded.
