He boarded Qatar Airways flight QR149 which took off at 8:08 a.m. (6:08 a.m. in France) and is due to land at Adolfo-Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport at 1:33 p.m. local time. For his part, Didier Deschamps must decide today whether to replace Benzema in his list of twenty-six players. He has until Monday evening, the day before France-Australia (8 p.m.), to do so.
