Overtoun Bridge: The Canine Suicide Bridge Society

from

Brick round arches made of gray granite, projections with battlements, in the middle a relief with a coat of arms: the Overtoun Bridge actually looks pretty pretty. The bridge leads in Dumbarton, a small Scottish town near Glasgow, over a 15 meter deep gorge. One of the access routes to Overtoun House, a former manor house, is over the bridge built in 1895. A monument from the Victorian era, a popular photo opportunity – and a cursed place from the point of view of many locals.
