Weather: Gray in the north, clear in the south

In the north, meteorologists expect cloudy conditions and some showery rain on Wednesday. In the south the day looks completely different.

On Wednesday the weather will be in Northern Germany is gray and the south is cheerful. The temperatures reach a maximum of 16 to 21 degrees, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Offenbach on Tuesday. In the north, meteorologists expect cloudy conditions and some showery rain. In the middle of the country the day also starts with clouds, later it becomes clear and dry.

In the south, people can look forward to a mostly sunny day after morning fog. Stormy gusts and isolated squalls are possible along the coast.

For Thursday, the DWD again expects the weather to divide between northern and southern Germany. In the northern half it will be gray and rainy at times, especially in the first half of the day. In the southern half it will be clear and partly sunny after the fog has cleared. A maximum of 16 to 21 degrees can be expected, with it being warmest in the southwest. Stormy gusts are expected to develop at sea. Things are expected to be similar on Friday with a maximum of 12 to 22 degrees. According to the DWD, warming is in sight again for the weekend.
