Ottobrunn – 96-year-old rams a car with a pedelec – District of Munich

An accident that occurred on Monday morning in Ottobrunn shows that pedelecs are also vehicles that can cause a lot of harm. A 96-year-old was out there on his three-wheeled electric bike. When he crossed Am Bogen, he overlooked the car of a 52-year-old who had the right of way. The pensioner hit his pedelec – according to the police, a model called Easy Rider – against the car, fell and sustained serious injuries, including a laceration on the head. He was hospitalized for inpatient treatment. There was only minimal property damage to both vehicles.
