“Orphea in Love” in the cinema: fantastic devil’s spook – culture

Stupid walk, really stupid walk: You bang your head on the apartment door, wake up in the morning with a bandage and your voice is gone, your wonderful singing voice. That’s how one could sum up the story of young Nele that this film tells – it would be just one of many possible readings for this multi-sparkling film, in which there are a bunch of intricate and dirty deals. It’s about culture, the highest art, opera, but the film leaves no doubt that staging is always involved in this business, fantastic devilish spook.
