One in three flights canceled Tuesday at Paris-Orly, other airports affected

The mobilization against the pension reform continues. And air traffic risks being turned upside down again. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) has asked airlines to cancel a third of their flights to Paris Orly on Tuesday due to the participation of air traffic controllers in the mobilization, the administration announced on Thursday.

These preventive deletions were also required for one in five flights from or to the airports of Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Toulouse, Bordeaux and Nantes, said the DGAC in a press release, warning that “disturbances and delays” more were likely.
