Due to the imminent mega strike, Sat.1 changes its program and shows the special program “Streik Spezial. Deutschland Stands Still”.

Germany is on strike. On Monday, March 27th, most of the trains, buses and planes will be idle nationwide. There are restrictions on freeways. The Munich private broadcaster Sat.1 is changing its program because of the upcoming mega strike. Following the “Sat.1 Nachrichten” on March 27 at 8:15 p.m. is the special program “Streik Spezial. Deutschland Standstill”. Claudia von Brauchitsch (48) moderated.

“Streik Spezial. Germany stands still”: Current and background information on the mega strike

“There has never been such a large dimension of industrial action in Germany,” explains Sat.1 editor-in-chief Juliane Eßling regarding the forthcoming special broadcast. In addition to current reports on the situation in Germany and the consequences of the strike, the program “Streik Spezial” also deals with the questions: “How tense is the financial situation of the strikers really and how great is the acceptance and understanding of the citizens for the concerted action of the unions?”, as stated in a press release by Sat.1.

The subsequent show “99 – One: r beats them all!” delayed due to the mega strike special, and will start at 8:30 p.m.

The afternoon show “Full House!” will report on the Germany-wide strike and its effects on March 27 from 4 p.m. on Sat.1.
