Italians dominate the second weekend of the Oktoberfest
The Italians are back! According to a roaming analysis by the mobile phone provider Vodafone, most foreign visitors actually came from south of the Brenner Pass on the so-called Italian weekend. Again, it has to be said, because just two years ago, at the first Oktoberfest after the Corona forced break, things were different: The Italians only ranked fourth after Great Britain, the USA and Austria.
And who came in second? These were… – no, not the Americans who topped the rankings for the entire first week of the Oktoberfest, nor the party-happy Brits, but our friends from Switzerland (a warm greeting at this point). By the way, the Swiss are the third most represented nation, ahead of them: the Italians.
