Borussia Dortmund has presented its new assistant coach: Armin Reutershahn will support Edin Terzic’s team from now on.

After the departure of Peter Hermann due to health reasons, BVB had spent the past few weeks looking for a new assistant coach for Edin Terzic. Armin Reutershahn had emerged as the favorite (90 mins reported) and was officially presented by Borussia on Thursday.

“Armin Reutershahn is a renowned, very experienced football expert who has worked with coaches such as Julian Nagelsmann, Niko Kovac and Adi Hütter throughout his long career and has always strived for maximum success,” enthused sports director Sebastian Kehl. “We are convinced that Armin Reutershahn will enrich our coaching team with his skills and experience and help us to achieve our goals for the season.”

“Borussia Dortmund stands for football tradition and enormous enthusiasm. I’m really looking forward to BVB, working with head coach Edin Terzic and I’m sure that we’ll be talking about a successful season at the end of the season,” said Reutershahn optimistically.

The 62-year-old was last active as Adi Hütter’s assistant coach at Borussia Mönchengladbach, but was without a job after his dismissal this summer.
