inclusion:The cradle shines brightly
Children and artists are redesigning the façade of the curative education center over an area of 200 square meters
By Jessica Schober, Odelzhausen
In an inclusive art project of a special kind, the cradle in Odelzhausen was given a new coat of paint. The remedial home offers a home to 37 children and young people, some of whom have severe mental and physical disabilities. They live in family residential groups and are cared for from infancy to the end of compulsory schooling. In June, the residents and more than 80 employees designed a 200 square meter façade area together with the artist duo 44flavors. The color and shape were created without a sketch in dialogue with the children.
