Manuel Göttsching is dead. According to Radio 1 presenter Olaf Zimmermann, who was a friend of his, the guitarist and musician died on December 4 in Berlin. Göttsching had the group in 1970 with keyboardist Klaus Schulze and bassist Hartmut Enke Ash Ra Temple founded. With its mixture of electronic and improvised music, it was also valid Tangerine Dream and Can as a pioneer of the kind of music that English journalists dubbed krautrock.
