Oberschleißheim – growth for the Flugwerft – district of Munich

On Sunday a Dornier Do 128-6 “Turbo Skyservant” research aircraft floated into the Schleissheim airfield and will now enrich the exhibition in the Flugwerft. The machine was in use for the TU Braunschweig for almost 35 years. The last airworthy Do 128-6 was built as a prototype in Neuaubing, had its maiden flight in 1980 and was en route from the Arctic Ocean to the Mediterranean. Helmut Schulz from the Institute for Flight Guidance, pilot Rudolf Hankers, Peter Hecker from the TU Braunschweig and Robert Kluge from the Deutsches Museum (from left) are happy about the successful landing.
