The burglar had not expected this: When he broke into a beverage store in Oberhaching in the early hours of Wednesday morning, he was suddenly confronted with employees who were still working there at that time. So he fled without taking anything.
According to the police, the perpetrator – who may also have had accomplices – cut through a fence shortly after midnight and thus gained access to the company premises. There he found an open door to the building and entered the office where he was surprised by the staff. They informed the police, who immediately launched a search, but without success.
The investigators are therefore now relying on the help of witnesses. Anyone who noticed anything suspicious around 0.15 a.m. on Wednesday in the area of the Kolpingring and Raiffeisenallee in Oberhaching should contact the Munich Police Headquarters, Commissariat 52, Telephone 089/2910-0.
