Nuremberg: court negotiated Frankenschnellweg in October – Bavaria

In October, the Bavarian Administrative Court in Munich will hear the lawsuit brought by the Federal Nature Conservation Agency for the planned expansion of the Frankenschnellweg in Nuremberg. A spokesman said on Thursday that the hearing was scheduled for October 24th and November 11th. The city of Nuremberg is planning to expand the busy Frankenschnellweg into a kind of city autobahn without crossings. The BN is suing against this.

The environmental association VCD in Bavaria had also filed a complaint against the controversial expansion before the administrative court in Ansbach. However, this overturned the lawsuit last October. It is not yet clear whether the VCD will appeal against this. The written justification for the judgment was recently available, the VCD said on request. “We can only provide information about further steps after a thorough analysis of the verdict.”
