Nordahl Lelandais sentenced to eight months in prison for obtaining telephones in detention

Eight months in prison, it is the sentence which was pronounced this Wednesday against Nordahl Lelandais by the court of Vienne, in Isère. Already sentenced to twenty years in prison for the murder of Arthur Noyer and to life imprisonment for that of Maëlys, the former soldier was this time tried for having procured mobile phones in detention and in solitary confinement.

One of the mobiles as well as two SIM cards had been provided to him in December 2021, by a former companion, a prison visitor. She received a six-month suspended prison sentence. reports The Dauphine Libere.

Extracted from his cell in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier, Nordhal Lelandais was presented to the Vienna public prosecutor’s office as part of an appearance for prior recognition of guilt. He had already accepted the sentence requested by the prosecution. The hearing on Wednesday morning only consisted of approving this sentence in the presence of his lawyer.
