Basketball world champion Dennis Schröder suffered another defeat with the Toronto Raptors in the NBA.

Basketball world champion Dennis Schröder suffered another defeat with the Toronto Raptors in the NBA.

The national team captain lost with his team in the North American professional league against the Philadelphia 76ers with 107:114 (59:56). A day earlier, the Canadians narrowly lost to the Chicago Bulls after overtime 103:104.

Schröder had 15 points and ten assists in the third match in the second defeat of the season. Like on Friday (10/10), he achieved a so-called double-double with his double-digit values.

See you again with Nurse

There was a reunion for 76ers coach Nick Nurse, from whom the Raptors parted ways in April. With Nurse, Toronto surprisingly became the first Canadian team to win the NBA title in 2019. “It’s incredibly ironic that we got his first win against Toronto. Congratulations to him, there’s more to come,” said Philadelphia’s Tyrese Maxey.

Center Isaiah Hartenstein lost with the New York Knicks to the New Orleans Pelicans 87:96 (55:37). The 25-year-old Hartenstein scored four points. World champion Daniel Theis did not play in his Indiana Pacers’ 125:113 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers and is still waiting for his season debut.
