Newcastle United: 95 million euros for Leipzig’s Amadou Haidara?
Newcastle United are interested in numerous top players due to the great financial opportunities. New in sight: Amadou Haidara from RB Leipzig.
Newcastle United are on the lookout for a midfielder in their fight against relegation and are reportedly interested in RB Leipzig’s Amadou Haidara. That reports the Daily Mail.
With Kieran Trippier from Atletico Madrid (€15m) and Chris Wood (arrived from Burnley for €30m), Newcastle hit the transfer market twice in January.
According to the report, the Magpies plan to put together a total package of 95 million euros for the 23-year-old. Including transfer fee and 190,000 euros weekly fee.
Release clause of 40 million euros
Haidara would apparently be available in the summer via an exit clause of around 40 million euros – but Newcastle need the midfielder now. They are currently second to last in the Premier League.
Most recently, the club flashed off numerous players – including Lucas Digne, Hugo Ekitike, Sven Botman, Diego Carlos and Dusan Vlahovic.
