Rammstein have recorded a video for the single “Adieu” – but the title, text and pictures give many fans bad premonitions.

The rumors about the end of Rammstein have flared up again: Yesterday, Thursday (November 24th), the video for the song “Adieu” was released. In it, the band members, heavily armed, storm a magnificent building and engage in a hail of bullets with the security staff.

In the video The band’s goal is to get to the “damned” chained up in a dungeon hell. The lyrics reflect on death and the end, the chorus says: “Adieu, goodbye, goodbye, you must walk the last path alone / one last song, one last kiss, no miracle will happen / adieu, goodbye up Goodbye, the time with you was nice”. At the end all band members lie dead on the floors and stairs of the building that has been stormed and the title of the song is displayed again.

New style, the end or nothing?

No wonder many fans read a farewell message in the video, text and title. “Because of this song I was already expecting that it could be her last album. After the video I’m afraid I might be right,” writes a user on twitter to the video announcement. Another asks, “Why does this make me sad?” to which someone replies, “Because it feels like it’s the end.” Some fans also speculate that “only” the band’s style would change: “What does that mean? Do they mean that Rammstein will no longer exist? Or that they are now making pop music?” .

Whether it’s the end or not – the fans still have a grace period anyway. Next year, Rammstein will be going on a big European tour, including seven dates in Germany, which are all sold out. In 2024, the band should also have a few surprises up their sleeves for their fans – then Rammstein will celebrate their 30th anniversary.

Flake criticizes tour madness

However, an end to the band would be quite logical after keyboarder Flake (56) recently joined his daughter Video for an environmental protection campaign released. In it, Mimi accuses her father of having contributed to climate change at the concerts with his band: “You with your band, on tour all the time, with your fat shows, these thousand trucks,” it says.
