Registry office: The child is here and the official clock is ticking
The basis for all subsequent services is the child’s registration at the registry office. You have five days to do this. Not much if things are more hectic after the birth than before. The registry office will issue the birth certificate. It is your child’s most important document. It is best to copy and scan several times at once. Some offices require a certified copy. Never give the original out of your hand!
