New offer for elementary schools: Tons of fun during breaks – Ebersberg

The yellow bins, which the health region and the primary schools in the district make available, contain 24 different pieces of play equipment. Branch manager Andrea Fischer, district administrator Robert Niedergesäß and department head Christian Salberg recently handed over one of the bins to Catherine Aicher, rector of the primary and middle school in Vaterstetten (in the photo from left). Pupils were particularly pleased about the new play opportunities. “The new devices are intended to encourage elementary school children to exercise, play and exercise during their breaks. The yellow bin contains, for example, badminton balls, soft foam play balls, skipping and swing ropes, tennis rings and more. The children can ideally play different forms of play in different groups and across age groups try it out,” says Fischer. Such an offer is already available in twenty primary schools in the district.

“The district of Ebersberg is one of the “youngest” in Bavaria. It is important that the little district citizens can grow up as well and healthy as possible. Playing together is fun and exercise and is healthy for body and soul. I’m happy me that we can provide this free service via the health region plus,” says District Administrator Robert Niedergesäß.
