New from September 2021: parental allowance, energy-saving lamp, Wahl-O-Mat

On September 2nd, the election-O-Mat for the federal election will be published on the website of the Federal Agency for Civic Education. The interactive tool is intended to help anyone who is still unsure about whom to vote on September 26th. The users can agree to 38 predefined theses, reject them or rate them as neutral. You can also indicate which of the topics are particularly important to you personally.

The answers are then compared by Wahl-O-Mat with the programs of the parties admitted to the election. The user can choose whether he wants to compare the programs of all parties or only those of certain parties. The Wahl-O-Mat also has new functions this year. For example, under the item “Party comparison”, you can see at a glance how up to three selected parties stand on a particular topic and read their reasons for it.
