New concern for the Queen: she cancels all appointments after corona disease

Because of her corona disease, Queen Elizabeth II canceled her appointments planned for Tuesday. “As Her Majesty continues to experience mild cold-like symptoms, she has decided not to attend her planned virtual appointments today,” said a palace spokesman. The 95-year-old will continue to do “light tasks”. The PA news agency reported that further appointments in the coming days would be decided at short notice.
The palace made the Queen’s corona disease public on Saturday. The head of state felt “mild, cold-like symptoms” but wanted to continue doing “light tasks” in Windsor next week, it said at the weekend. It is considered certain that the Queen was vaccinated against Corona three times. Her son, heir to the throne, Prince Charles (73) and his wife, Duchess Camilla, 74, had previously tested positive for the virus. According to BBC information, several employees at the royal residence Windsor Castle are also infected.
