For the first time since its completion in 1886, extensive restoration and renovation work is currently underway in the state rooms of Neuschwanstein Castle. The work on the unique works of art affects all show, ancillary and functional rooms accessible to visitors as well as the former royal apartment in the gate building, the Ministry of Finance and Homeland announced on Wednesday in Munich.
