Neubiberg – Police secure stolen e-bike – Munich district

When checking a van, civilian police officers secured a stolen e-bike on the A 8 near Neubiberg on Tuesday. The two 43 and 31-year-old occupants of the vehicle with Hungarian license plates said they were only transporting bulky waste. In fact, the officials found the new e-bike and a broken bicycle lock as well as high-quality tools in the hold. Police estimate the total value of the loot at $4,000. The two officers identified a man from the Munich district as the owner of the e-bike, who had not yet noticed the theft. He got his bike back.
