“Of course it depends on whether others should hear it or not, but most of the time they shouldn’t hear it and then we’ll talk German,” said Franz Wagner at a joint press conference with his older brother.

The Berliners both play for the Orlando Magic in the NBA. For 21-year-old Franz Wagner it is the second season in the best basketball league in the world. His brother, who is four years his senior, is in his fifth season and was previously under contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Wizards and Boston Celtics.

“I have the advantage that I can compare it and therefore know what it can be like without a sibling in the team and how valuable that is,” said Moritz Wagner about his brother as a teammate.
