New hope for Taylor Swift fans: After a hacker attack, the resale of tickets for Swift’s concerts in Germany was stopped. Now the ticket provider has given the green light again.

Good news for “Swifties”: After the resale of digital tickets for the German concert dates of Taylor Swift’s concert was stopped due to a hacker attack, fans can now get their hands on remaining stocks of the coveted tickets. The prerequisite: other fans must offer tickets they have already purchased for resale on a ticket exchange. This has been possible again since Monday evening (6 p.m.), the spokesperson for the Eventim ticket exchange told the German Press Agency upon request.

The resale of Swift tickets was temporarily suspended at the beginning of May due to a hacker attack. Fraudsters had stolen digital concert tickets for Swift’s current “The Eras” tour – and apparently wanted to make money from them.

The tickets were only available through Eventim and sold out shortly after they went on sale. As a security measure, the tickets were personalized. It is only possible to resell them through an Eventim ticket exchange.

Swift (34) will be coming to Gelsenkirchen, Munich and Hamburg in July as part of her tour.
