Posthumous triumph for David Bowie: His long-lost album “Toy” conquers the German album charts.

Pop superstar David Bowie, who died in 2016, entered the German album charts at number three with an album that was created twenty years ago, was long lost and has only just been released. Pop singer Daniela Alfinito made it to the top of the album charts right away with “Löwenmut”. This is the musician’s fourth number one album, GfK Entertainment announced on Friday. According to the information, rapper OG Keemo takes second place with “Man bites a dog”. The four says 18 Karat with “Uncut” and the five says The Weeknd with “Dawn FM”.

Number one in the single charts is still US newcomer Gayle with her TikTok hit “abcdefu”. Gzuz & Bonez MC took second place straight away with “If I want to”, Pajel slipped to the third place with “10 of 10”. Ed Sheeran with “Shivers” is unchanged on the four. Glass Animals move up a rank and are now at five with “Heat Waves”.
