He’s back: Udo Jürgens leads the album charts. When it comes to singles, there can only be one around Christmas: Mariah Carey.

Eight years after his death, singer Udo Jürgens returns to the top of the German album charts. “Da capo, Udo Jürgens” traces the stages of a world career and posthumously gave the Austrian, who died in December 2014, the fourth number one record, GfK Entertainment announced on Friday.

Frei.Wild followed in second place with “20 years, we create Deutsch.Land”, third place went to Bonez MC & Raf Camora (“Plastic palm trees 3”). Sarah Connor (“Not So Silent Night”) falls from two to four. Angelo Kelly & Family complete the top five with the concert recording “The Last Show (Live)”.

Mariah Carey holds the top spot in the singles chart with “All I Want For Christmas Is You”. This is followed by “Last Christmas” by Wham! and “Merry Christmas Everyone” by Shakin’ Stevens. The entire top ten consists of holiday songs, according to GfK Entertainment.
