BTS singer Jimin paints Rilke poem on his chest

BTS are considered the most successful boy band in South Korean pop music. Singer Jimin came up with something very special for the video of his current solo performance.
Singer and dancer Jimin from South Korean boy band BTS has garnered a lot of attention on social media with a poem by German-language poet Rainer Maria Rilke. His single “Set Me Free Pt. 2” and accompanying music video were released on Friday. On it you can see that Jimin has painted the Rilke poem “I live my life in growing circles” in broken letters on his chest. The poem, which among other things evokes a mystical image of God, was written in 1899. Rilke lived from 1875 to 1926.
The hip-hop song is a pre-single from Jimin’s first solo album, the Bighit Music label said. “Face” will be released a week later (March 24th). The album cover features the word “Face” blurred behind annular waves. Jimin (27) revealed to the online music and film magazine “Consequence” that “Set Me Free Pt. 2” refers to a mixtape by his BTS colleague Suga.
BTS are considered the most successful music formation in South Korean pop music – the so-called K-Pop. The seven-member boy band stormed the charts with hits like “Dynamite” and “Permission to Dance”. Last year they surprisingly announced that they were taking a break as a group and the members wanted to focus on solo projects for the time being. BTS later denied rumors of a breakup.
