Unusual performance: She probably won’t sing, Jill Biden has a different job at the presentation of the world’s most important music prize.
A prominent guest from the White House will also make a brief appearance at the Grammy Gala next Sunday. First Lady Jill Biden will take on the role of a so-called presenter at the most important music award and make an announcement, as the organizers announced.
Other appearances are expected from musician and Grammy winner Cardi B, presenter James Corden and actor Billy Crystal.
The 65th Grammy Gala in Los Angeles will again be moderated by comedian Trevor Noah. According to the organizers, prizes will be awarded in a total of 91 categories this year. The top favorite is singer Beyoncé with nine nominations.
