There is a constant coming and going in Munich. Around 90,000 people were recently drawn to the city every year, which is so proud that so many special traditions are maintained here. The Oktoberfest is known all over the world – and what it’s all about with the entry of the Wiesn landlords, the cannon salvos at the start of the tapping and the concert under the Bavaria statue on the second Sunday of the Oktoberfest is revealed to newcomers and visitors quite quickly. But other peculiarities are not so easy to penetrate. We noticed that in the editorial office this week when the Schäffler announced that they wanted to appear out of line this year to set an example against war and Corona.
Who is dancing and why is it extraordinary?
