Munich: The winners of the Ernst Hoferichter Awards 2022 have been announced – Munich

The cabaret artist and slam poet Fee (Felicia) Brembeck and the SZ editor and writer Alex Rühle will be with the Ernst Hoferichter Prizes Honored in 2022. The award, endowed with 5,000 euros each, has been given annually since 1975 to Munich artists of narrative art who, in the sense of Ernst Hoferichter, combine originality with cosmopolitanism and humor.

About Fee, born in Munich in 1994 and already with the Tassilo Culture Prize of the SZ decorated, judged the jury that the artist had “won over a wide audience on the most varied of stages”. Her artistic radius from slam poet to cabaret artist and writer and singer is remarkable. About Rühle, born in 1969, they say: “Alex Rühle is often out and about in the world.” The jury praised him for his reports, non-fiction and children’s books, but also for his social commitment in Munich, among other things as a co-initiator of the refugee project Bellevue di Monaco.

Among the 100 or so artists who have been awarded the Ernst Hoferichter Prize so far are Herbert Achternbusch, Doris Dörrie, Axel Hacke, Jörg Hube, Bruno Jonas, Luise Kinseher, Ali Mitgutsch, Erwin Pelzig, Maria Peschek, Gerhard Polt , Herbert Riehl-Heyse, Tilman Spengler, Keto von Waberer, Marcus H. Rosenmüller, Christoph Süß, Dana von Suffrin and, most recently, Wolfgang Ettlich, Jaromir Konecny and Barbara Yelin.
