Small beginnings, big plans: “In the beginning we were three people: Florian Prucker, Professor Stefan Mittnik and I,” says Erik Podzuweit. The three had rented one of the rooms that are available for start-ups in Plant 1 on the old Pfanni factory premises. There they developed the idea for Scalable Capital in 2014. On the Neo-Broker’s investment platform, customers can invest money easily, with small amounts and without large fees. This is a “revolution” compared to what online brokers like Comdirect or Consors managed to do in the 1990s.
