Munich: Syrian family attacked at Laim S-Bahn station – Munich

The police are looking for a stranger who on Sunday a week ago attacked a Syrian family on platform 1 in the Laim S-Bahn station and allegedly insulted them in a xenophobic manner.

According to the police, he first kicked a 53-year-old from Fürstenfeldbruck in the legs around 4 p.m. When asked about it by their 30-year-old daughter, he insulted the family in a racist manner and spat in their direction. Later on, the man hit the father.

The 58-year-old was able to fend off the first blow, after which he was hit twice in the neck by a fist. He still tried to chase the attacker, then felt dizzy.

The driver of an approaching S-Bahn saw the incident and alerted the emergency control center. Rescue workers took the father to hospital for inpatient treatment. The search was unsuccessful.

The alleged perpetrator is described as 35 years old, 1.80 meters tall with green eyes, dark blonde hair and a short full beard. He wore yellow outerwear and a black jacket. Witnesses are asked to report to the police on 089/29 10-0.
