One of the great misunderstandings in German pop history is that moment when the Munich rock’n’rollers Spider Murphy Gang In 1981, thanks to their hit single “Skandal im Sperrgebiet”, they were counted among the Neue Deutsche Welle, which was then taken over by the music industry. Because such a misunderstanding was also profitable, the band around singer Günter Sigl and guitarist Barny Murphy soon adapted the concise rhythm from trios “Da Da Da”, the Sigl 40 years, for the hit single “Ich Schau Dich An” with a wink later in the sold-out music arena of the Tollwood Festival, still commented with the trio quote “Aha”.
