After 46 years, Wolfgang Wille (83) is retiring from the management of the Dallmayr Group. He will be succeeded as personally liable partner by Johannes Dengler (53), who will manage the company together with the also personally liable partner Florian Randlkofer (56). Wolfgang Wille will remain associated with the company as a partner in an advisory capacity.

“I have enormous respect for my father-in-law’s life’s work,” says Dengler. Despite the company’s great growth, Wille has managed to preserve the family character of the company. Under his leadership, Dallmayr has developed from a traditional regional Munich company with more than 300 years of history into an international brand with a recent turnover of around 1.2 billion euros, the management says. 75,000 tons of roasted coffee alone are sold every year, and the coffee machine business employs more than 3,000 people in 18 countries. In addition, there is the delicatessen, catering and the Michelin-starred restaurant “Alois – Fine Dining” in the main building on Munich’s Dienerstrasse.

“I am delighted that we can appoint a personally liable partner from the family in the form of Johannes Dengler,” says Wolfgang Wille. His son-in-law has held managerial positions at Dallmayr for 22 years. He began his career at McKinsey after studying business information technology at the University of Mannheim. At Dallmayr, he was promoted to the management of the coffee and tea division in 2012.

Robert Dolle, Michael Goldberg and Oliver Stokowski can call themselves Bavarian State Actors. At the end of the performance “James Brown wore curlers” at the Residenztheater, Minister of Arts Markus Blume presented them with the award a few days ago. “The honor is a well-deserved recognition for outstanding artistic achievements, passionate commitment and many inspiring stage moments,” said the minister. All three of them, who have been part of the Resi ensemble since 2019, are actors with heart and soul.

Dölle studied at the Otto Falckenberg School and has performed at the Kammerspiele, the Schauspiel Frankfurt and Cologne, among others. Goldberg received his training at the Neue Münchner Schauspielschule and performed at the Deutsches Theater Berlin and the Salzburg Festival. Stokowski studied music in Kassel and acting in Graz and had engagements in Hanover, Zurich and Vienna. He appeared on ZDF as “The Investigator” from 2001 to 2005.

Italy

Roy Bianco & The Abbrunzati Boys (Photo: Florian Peljak)

Roy Bianco & The Abbrunzati Boys have once again made it to number one in the official German album charts with their new album “Kult”. The band around Bianco and his colleague, who calls himself Zanti for short, had already achieved this two years ago with the album “Mille Grazie”. The secret of their success? Perhaps the mystery they create around themselves. Certainly their sense of humor and the longing for the Italian way of life, for sun, beach and water, which their Italo hits trigger. Their declared goal is, and this is no secret: to fill the Munich Olympiahalle on November 15th.
