The Russian invasion of Ukraine moves the people of Munich – during the upcoming Munich Security Conference (MSC) in a very special way. When politicians, military officials and representatives of the armaments industry discuss questions of war and peace in the Bayerischer Hof conference hotel, three large demonstrations are planned this time: the traditional opponents of the security conference from the left-wing Anti-Siko Alliance, this time also a right-wing group from the conspiracy ideology Spectrum around the organization “Munich Stands Up” and the supporters of Ukraine, young people from the country devastated by Putin’s war and several prominent members of the Bundestag.
