The police arrested three suspected robbers at the crime scene on Saturday. Around 10 a.m., a passer-by made an emergency call because he had seen three masked men entering a pawn shop in Maxvorstadt. 15 patrols immediately moved out and secured possible escape routes, as reported by the police. Inside the store, officers spotted a masked person who immediately disappeared. In the backyard of the property, the fleeing perpetrators ran into the police officers and were arrested.
According to the current state of investigation, the perpetrators hit the 57-year-old owner with his fist and tied him up after entering the shop. He was slightly injured and taken to a hospital. The loot consisted mainly of jewelery worth a five-figure sum. According to the police, the three perpetrators come from Albania and are 32, 37 and 45 years old. They were to be brought before the magistrate on Sunday. It will be checked whether they have committed other crimes.
