Munich: Premiere of “Totensurvival” in the Werkraum of the Kammerspiele – Munich

The old Puhdys-Banger frames the evening: hummed, sung, sometimes intoned crookedly and then harmoniously dreamy. “If a person” – all you need is the bass line, a cappella, and worlds open up: living, loving, suffering, dying. With a soundtrack that promised freedom, “The Legend of Paul and Paula” became one of the most colorful films in the gray of the real GDR. Director Paula Schlagbauer uses the song to set the sound for her production of “Totensurvival” in the Werkraum of the Munich Kammerspiele.
