“Miss Moneypenny” did a great job. On Sunday morning, the police dog tracked down a 19-year-old burglar in the storage room of a department store in the Olympia shopping center in Moosach after the alarm went off at a security company. The two-year-old bitch, a Dutch-Belgian shepherd mix, is a trained protection dog and data carrier tracker.
Initial investigations revealed that the 19-year-old is said to have forced open two glass doors with an iron bar and thus gained access to the storage rooms. He ransacked cupboards and shelves, but never got around to stealing anything. An investigating judge ordered pre-trial detention.
