Munich: passers-by save Mann in Freimann’s life – Munich

With their courageous intervention, two passers-by may have saved the life of an elderly man on Leutkircher Strasse in Freimann on Wednesday evening. According to the police, the 66-year-old fell asleep on the couch in his mezzanine apartment with a lit cigarette, the piece of furniture and the paper lying next to it began to smoke.

A 37-year-old from the district of Munich and a 32-year-old from Munich saw this through the open balcony door. They immediately called the police and fire brigade – but didn’t leave it at that. Since the smoke had not yet spread much, they climbed into the apartment via the balcony and brought the 66-year-old to safety on the balcony.

There he was treated further by the fire brigade. Fortunately, the two witnesses remained unharmed in their courageous act.
