Beppi Bachmaier and Martin Jonas are taking legal action against their non-admission to the Oidn Wiesn. If a decision is not made by the end of June, it will definitely be too late to set up the traditional tent in time.
Now what the city council actually wanted to avoid has happened: a lawsuit because of the musicians’ tent at the Oidn Wiesn. As reported, the new “Boandlkramerei” of the festival tent owner Peter Schöniger surprisingly won the race and not the Herzkasperl tent of the Fraunhofer landlord Beppi Bachmaier, who had been represented with this tent for the first time since 2010 at the then Historical Wiesn. It is named after the stage character of the famous actor and cabaret artist Jörg Hube.
