The Munich Transport and Tariff Association (MVV) wants to quickly introduce the nine-euro ticket. On Thursday, the federal government also decided on a public transport ticket as part of its energy cost relief package, which is to be valid for three months for nine euros a month.
The MVV has now announced talks with the Free State of Bavaria and the transport companies in the association. At the moment, however, the federal government still needs to make specifics. MVV Managing Director Bernd Rosenbusch announced on Friday that subscribers should also benefit from the new offer. He asks all customers not to cancel their subscriptions, but to wait for further information.
