A 51-year-old was trapped under a bus in the Riem district of Munich and was seriously injured. The man got under the front part of the bus on Saturday evening around 6.20 p.m. under initially unclear circumstances in Riemer Straße and was run over, the fire brigade said on Sunday.
Emergency services lifted the front axle of the vehicle with a lifting bag to free the trapped man. An ambulance took the seriously injured to the hospital. The bus driver was treated by the crisis intervention team. Further details were not initially known.
